about us

in today’s world, it’s easy to become overwhelmed by screens, productivity pressures, and events that prioritize transactions over real human connection. this often leads to burnout, isolation, and a lack of diversity in spaces where collaboration and innovation should thrive.

at "tech night!", we're changing that. we provide a welcoming, inclusive space for tech enthusiasts to step away from their screens and build meaningful relationships, share ideas, and collaborate outside the pressures of school and work. we mainly host out of orange county, but will be expanding into los angeles and hosting pop up events worldwide.

our mission

our goal is simple: create a community where collaboration, learning, and connection take precedence. we believe that by fostering an environment of authenticity and inclusivity, everyone has the chance to grow, share, and contribute - whether they’re a seasoned professional or just starting out.

what we offer

  • social events: regular meetups where you can talk about work, side projects, hobbies, or anything else in a chill, low-pressure environment
  • hackathons & game jams: hands-on events that let you team up with others, learn new skills, and build cool things together
  • workshops & talks: opportunities to learn from industry experts, exchange knowledge, and stay inspired with new ideas

why it matters

tech communities should be more than just networking events or transactional gatherings. we believe in the power of genuine connection. by intentionally creating spaces where diverse voices are heard and valued, "tech night!" fosters an environment where ideas flow freely and everyone feels invited to contribute. whether you’re a woman in tech, from an underrepresented group, or simply looking for a place to connect, you’ll find a space here that supports your growth and perspective.

our approach to diversity

we don’t force inclusion, we nurture it. our events naturally bring together a wide range of individuals because we’ve created a culture where everyone feels naturally supported and invited to participate. we actively encourage participation from people who may not always consider themselves “experts” or worry their ideas aren’t impressive enough. every voice has something valuable to share, and we’re here to ensure those voices are heard.
